A total of 50 participants, which comprised IWK representatives and drivers, were present at Daihatsu Malaysia’s head office for a hands-on training session specifically on vehicle handling. They were subsequently presented with a certificate each upon completion of the training. The official handover ceremony took place after that, followed by lunch with the management of DMSB.
Representing IWK were Faizal Othman, Chief Operating Officer, and Ir Mohd Taufik Salleh, Head of Regional Operation Southern. From Daihatsu were Makoto Ogawa, Executive Director, and Arman Mahadi, General Manager.
DMSB says the Daihatsu Gran Max has proven its quality and reliability to IWK in delivering excellent and efficient service in its day-to-day operations, hence the decision for the additional fleet purchase in 2018. Ogawa adds: “We are glad to provide product quality to Indah Water Konsortium in developing and maintaining a modern and efficient sewerage system to Malaysia. We’d like to thank IWK for its continuous support and are looking forward to building a long-term collaboration together.”
