Thian Wah Motor Offers One-Stop Solution for Fleet Companies
Today, the company stands as a one-stop solution provider, offering an extensive range of services that encompasses insurance claims, repair and maintenance, body and paint, variable trailer and rigid truck fabrication, trailer rebuilding, refurbishment and accident recovery.
Reflecting on the company’s inception, Managing Director Alex Tan, who assumed the leadership role more than ten years ago, shared: “My dad started this family business and I have fond memories of playfully running around the workshop as a child. As I grew older, I began actively participating in the workshop under his guidance, dedicating my time after school, during holidays and on weekends. It was during these moments that my interest for the business was ignited.”
Initially, he said, as a PIAM (General Insurance Association of Malaysia) approved repairer, Thian Wah specialised in passenger car accident repairs. However, he pointed out that every one to two months, the company also handled one or two truck accident repair jobs, manned by a team of seven skilled workers….

天华修车厂拓展新市场
1981年，从波德申芦骨的一家小型修车厂开始做起的天华修理车厂有限公司，经历了四十年的卓越发展。该公司如今已成为一站式解决方案提供商，其广泛的服务包括保险索赔、维修和保养、车身和油漆、各种拖车和一体式卡车制造、拖车重建、翻新和事故恢复。
董事经理陈纪达在十多年前开始掌舵，管理公司业务。他说：“我父亲是这个家族企业的创办人。小时候，我经常在修车厂里嬉戏，跑来跑去，留下了许多美好的回忆。随着年龄的增长，我开始利用放学后、假期和周末的时间，在父亲的指导下参与修车厂的工作。积日累月下来，我便对这个行业产生了兴趣。”
他说，最初，作为马来西亚普通保险公会（PIAM）的合格维修商，天华专门从事轿车事故维修。不过，他指出，每隔一两个月，该公司由七名技术工人组成的团队都会接获一两辆发生事故，需要修复的卡车….
