Amin Jaya and EZZ Maju Trading Have Also Opted for Scania’s Repair and Maintenance Contracts
Scania Malaysia continues to strengthen its presence in East Malaysia as multiple companies invest in its latest generation of trucks and buses. The latest acquisitions from Kotamas Oil Sdn Bhd, EZZ Maju Trading, and Amin Jaya Enterprise Sdn Bhd signal a growing demand for Scania‘s advanced technology and eco-friendly solutions
Kotamas Oil has acquired two units of the Scania P410A6X2NA trucks, specifically designed for ADR (dangerous goods transport) applications. Not only equipped with basic safety features such as Electronic Braking System (EBS), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and Traction Control, these trucks are also equipped with Advanced Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to ensure enhanced safety for both drivers and hazardous cargo.
Meanwhile, EZZ Maju Trading has expanded its fleet with a Scania G460A6x4NZ. By opting to use Scania Digital Services, including real-time positioning, vehicle performance monitoring, and CO₂ emissions tracking, the company aims to enhance its fleet efficiency while reducing its environmental impact.
In a milestone moment for East Malaysia’s transportation sector, Amin Jaya Enterprise has become the first company in the region to purchase the Scania New Bus Generation Euro 5 Double-Deck Express Coach. This new model boasts up to 9% lower fuel consumption and emissions, thanks to an upgraded Euro 5 engine, an enhanced gearbox range, and Scania Cruise Control with Active Prediction. Standard safety features such as LDW, EBS, ABS, and Traction Control ensure a secure and comfortable travel experience for passengers.
Alongside these new acquisitions, Amin Jaya Enterprise and EZZ Maju Trading have opted for Scania’s Repair and Maintenance Contracts. These agreements provide access to Scania’s Fleet Management System, allowing operators to monitor vehicle performance, plan maintenance schedules, and receive driver training and coaching. The real-time data and predictive analytics offered through the My Scania portal and Fleet app further empower fleet operators to make informed decisions that reduce downtime and operational costs.
