LogisWare 2017: September Marks the Return of the Best-in-Class Trade Exhibition
LogisWare was established with the aim of improving the efficiency of the logistics and warehousing industry and facilitating it to a greater height by presenting an array of extensive showcases and activities. The effort is said to be acknowledged by the related government departments, including the Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT) and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), and gain the full support from major industry organisations such as the Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (FMFF), SME Association of Malaysia (SMEAM), Malaysian Exporters Association (MEXPA), Malaysia Pallet Association, among others.
“We recognise the growing importance of Malaysian logistics and warehousing sector in the regional market, especially with the launch of the world’s first Digital Free Trade Zone in Malaysia and China’s launch of the One Belt One Road initiative. Therefore, we have put much effort to develop the positivity for our exhibitors and visitors. This can be seen in the diversity of the exhibition offering, from hardware, equipment, facilities to software, technology and solutions to assist participants in catching up with the latest trends and changes,” said Roger Lim, Managing Director of One International Exhibition Sdn Bhd, the organiser.
The exhibition is set to be a professional platform for industry stakeholders to gain more insight for their business expansion to local and international markets. The special programmes, namely Technology Day and Halal Day, are organised in response to the needs of industry stakeholders looking for more information and knowledge on the latest trends and technology to help them cope with the rapid change in current logistics and warehousing sector.
“There will be comprehensive sharing on the guidelines, standards and real scenario regarding Halal implications on Halal Day for those who involved in this business or seeking business potential in the Halal sector, while Technology Day will share the impact of technology transformation in the logistics and warehousing industry. The highlights include product showcase, live demonstration on automation system, robotics and seminars catering to visitors who want a better understanding of the benefits of automation and to improve their business efficiency. These programmes are our special highlights through our invited collaborators from Malaysia Ecommerce Association (MEA), Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and MCA Belt & Road Centre (MBRACE),” added Lim.
