Container Systems Introduces Latest Supra Models with High Capacity
In Malaysia, Container Systems (M) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Cold Carrier) was set up in 2010 and appointed by Carrier Transicold as its sole distributor to offer innovative and cost-efficient truck and trailer refrigeration systems. The company is a one-stop provider for Carrier Transicold products with installation, preventive maintenance and repair services.
Among the products is the Supra range, which was developed for medium size trucks with multiple door openings. The Supra range has been extended with three high capacity models (Supra 1050, 1150 and 1250 and City), and is available up to 12,000 Watts. These are designed for customers who cannot compromise on cold chain solutions help protect food supply and perishable cargo, and who need higher capacity and multi-temperature flexibility.
Compared with the Supra 950, the new Supra high capacity models provide 13 per cent higher capacity, 26 per cent superior air flow and 4 per cent lower fuel consumption.
The new Supra high capacity models’ multi-temperature capability allows total flexibility for multi-product deliveries, and features an ultra-slim evaporator range and nine standard configurations.
There is also a Supra City version featuring a top cover designed to reduce acoustic waves, indirect air inlet to reduce acoustic waves, acoustic material to absorb acoustic waves and sound emissions, and doors with integrated absorbent foam.
This is also PIEK-compliant which means it has extreme low-noise capabilities suitable for night-time deliveries.
The new Supra high capacity models also come with Optional Tracking Devices featuring temperature recorder, web-based telematics with GPS/GPRS capability, remote and real time fleet management, temperature and refrigeration unit alarm, and Carrier service network map. The Supra range achieves superior pull-down and accurate temperature control at all set points.This performance is supported by a large range of evaporators with electric fans providing constant airflow independent of engine speed.
Building on hundreds of thousands of operating hours, the Supra range demonstrates a robust design both for aesthetics (strong composite material) and components (easy start) to extend the unit lifetime and reduce downtime. Maintenance time is also optimised thanks to easy accessibility.
Container Systems carry a full range of Carrier Transicold products. Presently, the company has a branch in Simpang Pulai, Ipoh, and dealers and service centres in Kempas, Johor; Butterworth, Penang and Mentakab, Pahang. They are able to ensure fast delivery and minimum downtime, as it has sufficient back-up units and spare parts.
Immediate installation can be done for an order of 5 units and below, while a waiting period of 30 days is required for shipment in excess of 5 units. The installation of a compact refrigeration system would take 1 to 2 working days, while the installation of medium and heavy duty systems would take 4 working days.
All of the company’s products are covered by a minimum 1-year warranty and 1-year full service.
