KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd purchased another batch of RCBs and Micro Collection Bodies from Hyva Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
KDEB Waste Management – the First User of Hyva RCBs
Following the earlier purchase in 2017 of 20 Hyva Refuse Collection Bodies (RCBs), KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd purchased another batch of RCBs and Micro Collection Bodies from Hyva Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Commenting on the purchase, KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) Managing Director Ramli Mohd Tahir said the company had confidence in Hyva products because Hyva had a long history in transport solutions for environmental service industries and commercial vehicles since its establishment in 1979.
“Hyva has developed through its international expansion from a Dutch business to a global platform in more than 130 countries with a leading position in products such as tippers, truck-mounted cranes, compactors and refuse collection bodies for waste management industries, especially in developing markets. The technology, quality and innovative nature of Hyva’s solutions as well as the excellence of its customer support are the three main reasons why we continue to buy from this company.”
Hyva RCBs are safe and durable with higher payload
He pointed out that they were the first user of Hyva’s RCBs that had a capacity of 18m3. “The RCBs were suited well on the UD Croners, but the drum was too big and limited the manoeuvrability of the vehicle in narrow sites. We gave Hyva Malaysia our feedback and now the new batch of RCBs has a capacity of 16m3.”
In addition, the roller shutter at the back to close the loading area of the Hyva’s RCBs prevented the trash from spilling and this, he said, made it more impressive than the other brands. “If I am not mistaken, only Hyva’s RCBs have this feature for the moment in the market place.”
Ramli also praised Hyva’s RCBs for their durability. The units are constructed of high tensile wear resistance steel that could be exposed to the various types of waste. Hyva’s own hydraulic system adds to a high quality product that is durable for the environment in Malaysia. This adds up to a lifetime product and higher payload.
“Hyva has its own factory with its technical and service team. Thus, the company is able to customise its products according to our feedback and requirement. Its 24 hours support vans are ready to offer quick response and capable of handling any situation,” he added.
Meanwhile, Hyva Malaysia Managing Director Arthur van Welzen said all of Hyva’s products were designed, manufactured and tested under international norms in all its factories around the world, such as those in Germany, Italy, India, Brazil and China. This ensured that everything that was delivered would meet the expectation of its customers.
Hyva’s new R-Line RCBs, he said, comprised four families, each with a different capacity range from 6m3 up to 24m3. He pointed out that a higher payload was delivered or achieved through high compaction force and lightweight body design.
“Besides that, optimised diameter cylinders deliver faster operation and improve collection efficiency, and the double pump serves the simultaneous operation of packer and bin lifter for a more efficient collection of the waste.”
The company manufactures its own components to ensure quality. “We are the leading hydraulic component manufacturer in the world. Especially the hydraulic cylinder, which is a Hyva historical product, is recognised as a world leader in quality and performance. A hydraulic cylinder functions as the primary driver at the heart of many types of machinery. Most of our key components are produced in-house by Hyva. Thus, when our customers deal with us, they are dealing with a manufacturer not a third party. This allows us to respond promptly to change and customers’ requests.”
Hyva offers complete transport efficiency solutions
Van Welzen stressed that Hyva was a complete transport efficiency solution provider that catered to the growing and varying demands of its existing and future customers. “We know how important it is to provide support when it’s needed. The speed of response is not the only key factor; the quality of support that we deliver is just as important.”
Apart from its workshop in Kepong, the company also invested in dedicated 24 hours after-sales service vans with trained service engineers and workshop facilities. These fully-equipped vans could perform on-site rescue service and scheduled maintenance of Hyva equipment.
KDEBWM is 100-per cent wholly owned by Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI). Currently, the company manages the domestic waste collection and public cleansing service in the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS), Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), Klang Municipal Council (MPK), Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj), Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Sabak Bernam District Council (MDSB) and Kuala Langat District Council (MDKL).
“We would take over the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) and Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS) in January next year. By July next year, we would have taken over completely the domestic waste collection and public cleansing service in the Selangor state,” Ramli concluded.
达鲁益山垃圾管理为车队添购更多海沃R系列垃圾收集车
达鲁益山垃圾管理私人有限公司（KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd ) 继2017年向海沃马来西亚私人有限公司（Hyva Malaysia Sdn Bhd) 购买20台垃圾收集车车身后，近日又再度向该公司购买了另一批垃圾收集车身和微型垃圾收集车车身（Micro Collection Bodies) 。
谈及此次的采购，达鲁益山垃圾管理（KDEBWM) 董事经理拉姆利（Ramli Mohd Tahir）表示，公司对海沃的产品充满信心，因为海沃是个老字号，自1979年成立以来，就投身于环保服务和商用车运输解决方案。
“海沃不停地向海外扩张版图，从一家荷兰公司发展至今天的国际规模，业务遍及 全球超过130 个国家。它的自卸车、随车起重机、压缩垃圾车身等产品在垃圾管理行业中拥有领先的地位。海沃解决方案的科技、品质及创新性，以及卓越的客户支援是我们继续向该公司购买产品的原因。”
海沃垃圾收集车车身安全、耐用、高载重
他指出，该公司是第一家采用容积为 18立方米的海沃垃圾收集车车身用户。“该车身非常适合安装在UD Croner卡车上，但是它的垃圾容器太大，使车子无法在狭窄的街道灵活地操纵。我们将这反馈给大马海沃，如今新一批的车身容量为16立方米。”
此外，海沃的垃圾收集车车身在其装载处配备了一个卷闸，防止垃圾溢出来。他说这个特点使它有别于其他的品牌。“如果我没记错，目前只有海沃的垃圾收集车车身有这样的配备。”
拉姆利也称赞海沃垃圾收集车车身的耐用性。这些车身都是采用高强度，具有抗磨损功能的钢制成，适用于各种垃圾。液压系统也是海沃品牌，为马来西亚的环境提供耐用，高载重量，使用寿命长的优质产品。

“此外，优化的直径圆筒可提供较快的运营和改善收集垃圾的效率，其双泵同时操作包装和垃圾箱举升，更有效地收集垃圾。”

除了甲洞的维修中心外，该公司也投资于24小时全天无休的售后服务车，配备训练有素的服务工程师和修车厂设施。这些配备齐全的服务车能够为海沃提供现场救援服务和定期维修。
达鲁益山垃圾管理有限公司是雪州大臣机构（MBI）所持有。该公司的主要业务是管理雪州的垃圾收集和公共清洁服务。目前，他们接管的地区包括士拉央市议会（MPS）、安邦再也市议会（MPAJ）、巴生市议会（MPK）、加影市议会（MPKj）、八打灵再也市政局（MBPJ）、沙白安南县议会（MDSB）及瓜拉冷岳县议会（MDKL）。
“我们将在明年1月接管梳邦再也市议会（MPSJ）和瓜拉雪兰莪县议会（MDKS）。明年7月，我们将完全接管雪州的垃圾收集管理和公共清洁服务。”拉姆利总结说。
