   Dongfeng Technical Support Team Visits Malaysia

Athree-man technical and engineering team from Dong- feng China arrived in March to conduct a review of the performance of Dongfeng trucks in Malaysia.
The team comprised Wei Zhong Wei, Service Manager, Over- seas After-sales Services Section, Zeng Linxian, Senior Engi- neer, Drivetrain Design, Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics Depart- ment from Dongfeng and Wang Yong, Product Engineer from Dongfeng-Cummins Engine Company.
During their 2-week stay, the team conducted troubleshooting, training and needs analysis in order to enhance future vehicle specifications and strengthen after-sale support service for the Malaysian market. The team also visited key customers nation- wide to evaluate vehicle performance under Malaysian operat- ing conditions.
Driving conditions, fuel quality, climate and environment in the individual markets have to be assessed for the uniqueness of these markets. This is reviewed against the wear characteristics of the local truck specifications to ensure their suitability for the market. Over the long term, progressive fine tuning results in products that will be better suited for local users in Malaysia. As Dongfeng trucks had been operating in Malaysia for several years, this is seen as an opportune time to review their condition.

在我國的两星期期間,該團隊進行了故障診斷、訓練和需 求分析,以改善未來的車款技術規格,並加強馬來西亞市 場的售後服務支持。他們也拜訪國內關鍵顧客以評定車輛 在大馬操作的表現。
駕駛條件、燃油品質、氣候和環境在個別的市場需要個別 的評估,評估本地規格的損耗特性,確保適應市場。長遠 來看,逐步調整將讓產品更適合馬來西亞市場的使用者。 東風商用車在馬來西亞運作已有數年,這是個檢討東風商 用車狀況的好時機。
