Benteng Truckking Services SdnBhd, established in 1990, was formerly known as Bengteng Trading. It is a family-owned company that had specialised in food logistics from the day it started business.
“Over the years, we manage to develop a unique exper- tise in the area of food logistics and handling confectionary, fresh,chilled, ambient and frozen products for manufactur- ers, mass retailers, food service outlets, supermarkets, res- taurants and hotels throughout Peninsular Malaysia and Sin- gapore,” said Denice Chong of Bengteng Truckking Services Sdn Bhd.
The company owned a fleet of 70 trucks, including 3 tonners and 10 tonners,the majority of which werethe Mitsubishi Fuso range. “We have 11 10-tonne truck and 59 (including 2 brand new Fuso Canter) 3-tonne trucks. The demand for small quantity delivery is higher.This is why most of our trucks are of the 3-tonne range. ”
To ensure smooth delivery of the confectionary, fresh, chilled, ambient and frozen foods, which were highly temperature sensitive, Chong emphasised on the importance of having the right partner to meet the company’s transportation needs.
