“With our own workshop where 20 me- chanics are working each day, we are not only able to save cost, but more im- portantly we can ensure the best repair in the shortest possible time. This al- lows our trucks to go back on the road and provide our customers a better service. Our workshop is fully equipped with advance equipment, tools and cranes, which means we are able to handle routine maintenance, and minor and even major repairs such as an en- gine overhaul.”
The main challenge that Tan faced was during the 1997 Asian financial crisis. “Our business was badly af- fected in 1998. I was thankful that the reputation and trust that we had earned as well as the good relation- ship that we had maintained with the bank over the years had helped us overcome the crisis.”
Tan stressed that CSH was driven to achieve excellent service. “We al- ways strive to provide reliable, safe, prompt and efficient service to the in- dustry. The majority of our customers are ISO certified companies and we need to provide quality transportation and logistics services that meet their needs and requirements. In view of the increase in accident fatalities and to facilitate safe driving, we hired a qualified safety officer recently. He is responsible for increasing safety awareness, providing internal safety training and upholding our high level of safety standards.”
The investment and efforts that CSH made to constantly improve safety was well recognised by its clients. The company had earned various safety awards over the years.

陈耀华所碰到的最大挑战是1997年的 亚洲金融风暴。 “我们的生意在1988 年时严重受挫。我很感恩，因为我们 多年来的良好商誉，还有和银行建立 起来的关系，使我们得以度过这个难 关。”
他强调说，CSH努力为客户提供卓越的 服务。“我们努力为业者提供可靠、 安全、快捷及有效的服务。我们大部 分的客户都是拥有ISO认证的公司， 我们需要为他们提供符合他们需求的 优质运输和物流服务。有鉴于越来越 高的交通事故发生率，我们最近聘请 了一名合格的安全主管来推广安全驾 驶。他不仅负责提升安全意识，也为 公司提供内部安全培训和维护我们的 高安全标准。”
CSH在不断改善安全方面所做的投资 和努力，都获得了客户的认可，并在 这些年里，赢得了无数安全奖项。
