Since 2010, Hino says it is the market leader in the overall commer- cial vehicle segment for trucks and bus (GVW 4 tonnes and above) in Malaysia. In 2014, it sold 6,380 units to enjoy the ‘top share’ in the commercial market. HMSM says Hino products are some of the most technologically advanced in the Malaysian market.
Ever since its establishment in 1977, HMSM has worked closely with dealers to improve their services by upgrading to 3S status that provides a total package of services and offers convenience to customers across the country. To date, there are 103 outlets in the Hino dealer network nationwide, of which 57 are sales outlets and 37 of them are 3S outlets. HMSM says this was carefully planned to meet the growing market demand for Hino products and to pro- vide ‘excellent’ customer services.
Meanwhile, HMSM also launched a new Hino 1S (Sales) dealer – Marsing Industries Sdn Bhd – in Kuala Terengganu to serve the growing demand in Terengganu. Officiated by Iwamoto, the new 1S dealership is said to satisfy the higher demand for quality and reliable trucks and buses.
Marsing Industries started its partnership with Hino in September 2014 and is said to have enjoyed ‘excellence’ in sales and after- sales support. Managing Director Toh Teck Huat is confident that Marsing Industries will maintain its status of ‘undisputed’ Hino dealership in Terengganu and progress to an ‘acknowledged’ Hino dealer in the coming years. The company plans to upgrade to a bigger premises to become a 3S Dealer in line with HMSM’s direc- tion and mission.
This is said to fit perfectly with its vision of becoming a Top 10 Hino Dealer in Malaysia. Marsing Industries is located in Simpang Tokku Cabang 3 and covers an area of aout 40’x70’, with a showroom and administrative officer that are manned according to Hino’s highest standard in quality and safety. Its location in the centre of Kuala Tereng- ganu is described as strategic with a good customer base, comprising a mixture of industries from SMEs and big fleet companies.
