The 2nd Hino Total Support (TS) Contest was held at Hino’s Petaling Jaya head- quarters on 5th December, 2015 with the participation of 150 dealers from all over the country. All the participants were represented by their sales, service and parts advisors from Peninsular and East Malaysia.
“Previously called the Skills Contest, then the CS Contest and now the TS Contest, it is aimed at providing a platform for Hino dealers to test their knowledge and show off their skills in the categories of sales, service and spare parts. In addition, it is also an opportunity for Hino to give due recognition to the dealers’ efforts in promoting sales, service and spare parts activities in relation to customer satisfaction,” said Ken Iwamoto, Managing Director of Hino Malaysia.

Also present were Toshiaki Yasuda, Managing Of- ficer; Mitsuharu Tobata, General Manager, Asia Oceania Division; Kiminori Orikasa, General Man- ager, Total Support Technical Solution Division; and Toshihiko Takeda, Manager, Overseas Ser- vice Division, Hino Motors Limited, Japan.
To be eligible for the 2nd TS Contest, all the can- didates from the various categories, namely the sales specialist and sales advisor, senior tech- nician (mechanic) and service advisor, and the parts senior and parts advisor, were screened and tested through vigorous process of theory, practical and role play based activities.
Lu & Sons Engineering Sdn Bhd was the overall winner, followed by Sin Soon Hup Services Sdn Bhd in second place and TTJ Agency in third.
