CICSA's representative Ruf of Continental AG said: "As a member of CISCA, Continental has provided professional wisdom for the R&D of Foton Super Trucks in Europe over the past four years in such aspects as safety electronic equip- ment, intelligent communication equipment, EBS, braking system, chassis system and body electronic system."
"Foton Super Trucks project is one of great significance. We are pleased to join world-famous enterprises in contributing our wisdom to this important product. We will deliver pro- fessional drivelines and chassis technology to Foton Super Trucks to reduce their fuel consumption and carbon emis- sion," said Holzner of ZF.
"Foton is an important partner of Cummins in the world and Cummins is a major member of the US Super Truck Program. We provided leading engine technology support for Foton Su- per Trucks, which will be a huge advantage for the Foton Mo- tor Group," said Merritt of Cummins in an interview.
The launch of Foton Super Trucks indicates that Foton is making a ‘valuable commitment’ on delivering Intelligent con- nected logistics solutions to global customers. This is expect- ed to speed up the advent of the global era of super trucks.

This technology is transferrable and CRRC are also a bus builder of some re- pute in China and South East Asia.
CRRC offer a range of electric buses suit- able for urban use and short haul route. On show at Hanover was the company’s C12 Electric bus. A 12 metre body with a gross weight of 17.65 tonnes. The pow- er unit provides 150kW and a torque of 2500Nm. Powered by MnNiCo batteries with a capacity of 201kW the recharge time is two hours at a 100kW charging station.
Part of the success of the CRRC electric buses is their technology that has the abil- ity to think and react to the bus’s systems. Yunzhitong, which CRRC successfully developed after 3 years of research can compute, analyse, and has a strong ability to learn and think, and even can realise autonomous driving.
