Hiroshi Takahashi was appointed the new Managing Director of Hino Motor Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to take over the reins from Atsushi Uchiyama, effective from 1st October, 2023.
Hino Malaysia Welcomes New MD
With two decades of experience in vehicle sales and after-sales service, Takahashi began his career at Hino Motors LTD, Japan in 2004. During his 16-year tenure, he made contributions to the After-Sales Planning and New Vehicle Sales Planning departments. During those years, he also supported Kyushu-Hino Motors, one of Japan’s largest dealers, for three years.
In his previous role of leading the After-Sales Service Planning team, Takahashi was responsible for operational efficiency and workshop capacity optimising, making improvements in appointment systems and recruitment support, and the implementation of ‘Kaizen’ (improvement) activities to enhance areas with a potential for improvement. His efforts were crucial in overcoming manpower shortage and maximising customer maintenance appointments in the face of full capacity….
