Roadone QA919 for Short-Medium Distance Heavy Load Truck
Kitar Teliti Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Roadone tyres in Malaysia, has brought in the Roadone QA919 tyre that is designed specially to meet the needs of the mining industry.
“Featuring a unique transverse and longitudinal groove design with widened and deepened tread pattern, the QA919 could handle the harsh road condition of unpaved and mixed surfaces as well as low slopes. Although it is an all-position tyre for short-medium distance heavy load truck, it is recommended mostly for the drive position,” said General Manager Johnson Goh.
Other features, he continued, included the zero-degree cap ply, reinforced casing, extra thick sidewall and thickened bottom groove design that contributed to the tyre’s blowout and puncture resistance on unpaved roads. Low heat rubber compound for soft mining surfaces was said to provide low heat build-up and better puncture and tear resistance to effectively reduce shoulder/crown separation.
