ZC Rubber is set to add three new tyres to its Westlake Gen II truck tyres line: the WAM2, WSL2, and WDL2.
ZC Rubber’s New Truck Tyres “Promise Significant Advancements”
ZC Rubber announced on 13 August 2024 that it will officially launch the new Westlake Gen II truck tyres at the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany. There will be three additions to the Westlake Gen II line—the WAM2, WSL2, and WDL2—and they are all specially designed for the European market.
In its official statement, ZC Rubber says that the new Westlake Gen II tyres “promise significant advancements in performance, safety, and environmental sustainability.” All three tyres exhibit a substantial improvement in rolling resistance compared to their predecessors and are certified with M+S (Mud and Snow) and 3PMS (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) ratings for authorized winter performance.
Extended Tyre Life, Guaranteed Stability and Safety
The latest generation features cutting-edge designs and new appearances, incorporating low-heat-generating compound technology (Ultra Hybrid Formula) aiming for minimizing rolling resistance, ensuring energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. Utilising the latest profile design (PSCT) for minimized tyre profile deformation, these tyres offer peace of mind with less uneven wear and improved durability and are equipped with Belt-Wrap Technology (BWT) to boost superior crack resistance, an extended tyre life, and guaranteed excellent stability and safety.
These new tyres cater to a variety of applications. The WAM2 is ideal for mixed terrain and all axle positions, offering versatility for both on and off-road operations. The WSL2 is engineered for long-haul applications on steer axles, providing enhanced wear resistance and increased mileage. The WDL2, designed for long-haul drive axles, features a wider tread and higher saturation, delivering longer mileage, greater driving stability, and improved traction.
ZC Rubber invites attendees to visit its booth Hall 12/B66 at IAA Transportation from 17 to 22 September 2024 to learn more about these innovative products and experience firsthand the advancements in tyre technology that Westlake has to offer.
