PAG Appoints Acten Tire as Dealer for PRESA TBR Tyres in Seremban
Pemasaran Alat Ganti Sdn Bhd (PAG), the sole distributor of the Presa brand of tyres in Malaysia, has appointed Acten Tire Technology as their official dealer in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, to jointly promote the Presa TBR range of tyres. Acten Tire Technology is a subsidiary of Acten Group which specializes in rubber processing machinery and radial truck tyre retreading.
Both PAG, a subsidiary of the well-known Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd (TCMH), and Acten Tire Technology, aim to satisfy the needs of trans- port fleets and owner drivers by providing PRESA TBR tyres for their improved safety, fuel economy, high mileage, performance and also retreadability.
“As a subsidiary of TCMH, we are able to share the synergy of the group, including good market con- nections as well as powerful management skills. Now, with Acten Tire Technology, we are not only able to expand our market coverage into Serem- ban, but are also able to provide our customers an optimal package that will help them to maximise their tyre usage and save costs in the long run with Acten Tire Technology’s expertise in retread- ing, ” said PAG General Manager Steven Tan.
Presa PD 868 and PR 101 truck bus radial tyres were launched 8 months ago. Developed utilis- ing the latest technology, these new generation truck tyres have been well received by the mar- ket. Tan believes with good product quality and the right marketing approach, the Presa brand will gain more publicity and will further penetrate the truck market.
“Presa is Cheng Shin’s new tyre brand for the ex- port market. The company is ranked among the top 10 largest tyre manufacturers last year and this top ranking means that every Presa tyre that rolls out from Cheng Shin Rubber plant is of high international quality, ” Tan added.
The sizes that are currently available for PD 868 are 11R22.5 and 295/80R22.5, and 315/80R22.5 whilst PR 101 is available in 12R22.5, 295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5, 11.00R20 and 10.00R20 sizes. More sizes will be introduced in the future.

PD868目前所推出的尺寸为11R22.5 和295/80R22.5 及315/80R22.5， 而PR101所推出的尺寸则是12R22.5 、295/80R22.5、315/80R22.5 、11.00R20及10.00R20。他们会在 未来推出更多的尺寸。
