在市场覆盖方面,王虹玲指出,主要的客户来自大马东 海岸和沙巴。当然,她说,高升轮胎技术希望能在明年 进一步拓展市场。
“台湾研发的补片能修补卡车胎壁。虽然在修补之 后,这条轮胎不适合大负荷运载,但仍可作为短程 用途,延长轮胎的使用寿命。此外,我们也很幸运 能与台湾最大的翻胎公司--玉山轮胎密切配合。玉 山总经理陈育宏在翻胎技巧和科技方面给了我们很 大的协助。”
仔细观察,你会发现高升翻新轮胎的胎壁设计不同于其 他的业者。针对这点,王虹玲解释说,胎壁上设计独特 的通气孔(venting)可散热,有效延长胎体的寿命。
“考虑到客户的需求和车子的性能,玉山研发了弧形胎 面胶。事实上它是个轮缘胎面胶(contoured tread), 尤其适合卡客车翻新。弧形胎面胶有许多优势如可提高 里数、改善磨耗、防止胎肩部分的撕裂及延长胎体的寿 命。我们也在观察着弧形胎面胶,并希望能在不久的将 来将它采用在我们的翻胎中。”
此外,王虹玲也透露说,高升将引进玉山特别设计的透 气包封套。有了透气包封套,翻胎业者就无需采用通气 垫(wicking pad) ,可直接采用包封套来进行硫化。 这可协助翻胎业者节省成本、时间和人工。据她说,透 气包封套可散热,延长胎体寿命及避免通气垫在硫化过 程中的移位。”

In terms of market coverage, Wong points out that the majority of customers are from the east coast of Malaysia and Sabah. Of course, she says, Acten Tire Technology hopes to further expand its market coverage next year.
“Truck tyre sidewall repairs are possible with specially developed patches from Taiwan. Although after the repair, the tyre is not rec- ommended for carrying heavy loads, it can still be used for short distance journies, which prolong tyre usage. Apart from that, we are also very privileged to work closely with the largest retreader in Taiwan, Yu San Tire. Yu San General Manager Chen Yu Hung has been very helpful to us especially in terms of retreading skills and technology. ”
A closer look at Acten’s retreaded tyres reveals that their sidewall design is different from the others. According to Wong, this spe- cially designed venting in the sidewall is able to prolong the life of a casing as it helps to radiate the heat.
“Taking customer needs and vehicle performance into account, Yu San has developed the Radian Tread. It is in fact a contoured tread, which particularly suits TBR retreading. The Radian Tread has many advantages such as increased mileage, improved wear resistance, the avoidance of tearing in the shoulder area, and pro- longing the casing’s life. We are looking at the Radian Tread as well and hope to deploy it in our production in near future,” said Wong.
In addition, Wong also revealed that Acten will introduce ventila- tion envelopes that have been specially designed by Yu San. With the use of ventilation envelopes retreaders can eliminating wick- ing pad usage and directly cure their tyres using envelopes. This will help the retreaders to save cost, time and labour. According to Wong, the ventilation envelope can radiate heat, prolong casing life, and avoids the scenario where the wicking pad might move away from its original position during curing.
