Malaysia Truck Fair Brings the Industry Together
Held from 12th to 13th January 2013 at the Sutera Square-Sutera Mall, Johor Bahru, the Malaysian Truck Fair was initiated by the Pan-Malaysia Lorry Owners’ Association (PMLOA), and organ- ised by the Johor Lorry Operators’ Association.
The event attracted over 20 exhibitors, including Mercedes Benz/Fuso, Scania Malaysia, MAN Truck & Bus, Sinotruk, Volvo Malaysia, Shell Malaysia, Goodway Rubber, Acten Tire, Expert Concept( Maxxis Tires), Boustead (BH Petrol), etc.
Though the size of the show is not that big, it successfully served as a good meeting point. Not only for industry people to meet and exchange views, but also to allow them to keep visitors informed of the new trucks available, current market trends and the new developments in the industry.
PMLOA President Jong Foh Jit thanked the exhibitors for their great support by participating in the show at his opening speech. “Apart from raising funds for the association, we hope this exhibition will be able to provide a good platform in raising the market awareness of the exhibi- tors’ products which would ultimately translate into better sales.”
The two-day Malaysian Truck Fair closed with the PMLOA 26th Anniver- sary Dinner at Sutera Mall. Approximately 1000 people including VIPs,

由马来西亚罗里同业总会(PMLOA)主 催，柔佛罗里同业公会主办的马来西亚 大型卡车展销会，于2013年1月12日和 13日假五福购物中心的五福城广场盛大举行。
该展会吸引了超过20家公司参展，其中包括 马赛地奔驰/扶桑、大马斯堪尼亚、曼卡客 车、Sinotruk、大马富豪、大马蜆壳、顺行橡 胶、高升轮胎、Expert Concept(玛吉斯轮胎) 、Boustead(BH石油)等。
尽管规模不大，它成功成为业者集合的地点。不仅 让业内人士能借此机会见面和交流，也让他们有机 会告诉参观者有关新卡车的信息，市场趋势及行业 的新发展。
马来西亚罗里同业总会会长杨和育在致欢迎词中， 首先谢谢参展公司的大力支持。“除了为公会筹 款，我们希望这个展会能够提供一个良好的平台， 提升参观者对所展示产品的意识，最终提高参展公 司的销售量。”
这为期两天的展会，以马来西亚罗里同业总会的 26周年纪念庆祝晚宴作为结束。约有1000人出席 该盛会，包括重要嘉宾、各分会代表、卡车、轮 胎、润滑油及相关行业的制造商与供应商，还有 媒体。
当晚的气氛温馨热闹，为业界的老朋友提供了一 个叙旧的机会。美食、啤酒、精彩的表演，让人 流连忘返。杨和育宣布的两个好消息，更将晚会 推向高潮。
