他接着解释说,KPX直接与公司合作,针对他们的需求为他们量 身打造培训计划,因此培训的收费因公司而异。
询及他们的扩展计划时,纳吉布表示,他们的野心不在于扩展, 而是成为陆路安全运输行业中的冠军。“目前,我们有两名顾问 和10名教练。为了扩展,我们必须有更多的人力,但是要找到好 教练并不容易。对我来说,一个好的教练除了学历、知识、技术 及经验外,更重要的是有耐心和热诚。我认为比起迅速扩展,现 阶段更重要的是确保我们能够维持培训服务的品质。”
纳吉布指出,KPX最近的成就是为Petronas Carigali私人有 限公司的沙巴和沙劳越的天然气管道计划,设计和执行了一个 陆路运输安全项目,并达到了5百万无失工时伤亡事故(LTI) 里程碑。
  Customised Fleet Safety Programme
The training that KPX provides covers the transporta- tion’s pool of risks from three main clusters, which Na- jeeb pointed out as road and environment, vehicle, and users or drivers. “Driver training is just a small part of the fleet safety programme that we provide. Our programme is all about safety, not just driving skills. It covers driver management, journey management and vehicle man- agement. Driver management includes being fit to drive, driver procedures, driver competency, defensive driving techniques, response to hazards, vehicle dynamics and natural forces, and the needs of other road users. Jour- ney management includes driver behaviour, identification of hazard and route risks, trip schedule, rest and recre- ation, emergency response plan and accident reports and investigation. Last but not least is vehicle management that covers a vehicle major components and safety equip- ment, vehicle maintenance and post lesson written as- sessment. ”
Najeeb explained that as KPX worked directly with the companies to develop a customised training programme that was specific to their needs and requirements, the training fee varied from one customer to the other.
When asked about their expansion plan, Najeeb said their ambition was not so much on expansion, but to be a champion in the land safety transport industry. “Currently, we have 2 consultants and 10 instructors that specialise in driver training. To expand, we will need more manpower and it is not easy to find good instructors. For me, apart from the qualification, knowledge, skill and experience, a good instructor must have a great deal of patience and passion. At the moment, I think it is more important to make sure that we are able to maintain the quality of train- ing services that we provide than on expanding rapidly. ”
A recent achievement that Najeeb was proud of was that KPX had designed and executed a land transport fleet safety programme for Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, Sabah Sarawak Gas Pipe Line Project in which it had contributed to the achievement of the significant safety milestone of 5 Million Man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).
