Monzone Launches Thermo King Coldcube at 2014 FH
   Monzone, the dis-
tributor of Thermo King in
Singapore and Malaysia, made
a strong presence at the recent 2014 Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) exhibition, which was held from 8th to 11th April at the Singapore Expo and Convention Centre.
During the exhibition, Monzone launched the new Thermo King Coldcube, an innovative portable refrigerated container; dis- played the T1000R, the T-Series temperature control unit for trucks; and introduced the High Impact Innovative Fiberglass Solutions. These innovative products and concepts successfully attracted good crowds of visitors to the booth and Monzone re- ceived lots of enquiries.
The new Thermo King Coldcube is a flexible, portable cooling and freezing unit suitable for a variety of applications. It is designed to allow small businesses to transport refrigerated goods without the expense of insulating a van or fitting a small engine-driven refrigeration unit. It can be quickly fitted to a standard truck or van.
Through extensive development and field experience, Thermo King has made major improvement with the T series, including the T1000R. The company claims that the T-Series has the right balance in system efficiency, fuel consumption and performance in all ambient conditions for both fresh and frozen produce. The plastic exterior skin of the T-Series is durable, and the engine and compressor are more efficient with lower noise pollution. In addition, it has low operation and maintenance costs as well as fuel saving technologies that ensure the user saves money throughout the unit’s life cycle. Easy system operation reduces the risk of user error while easy service and monitoring allow the unit to run at optimum efficiency at all times with lower life cycle costs.

The introduction of High Impact Innovative Fiberglass Solutions from Monzone also attracted attention. With the fibre reinforced composite High Impact, Monzone says it has been possible to combine the most compel- ling product advantages of 3 major construction materi- als in commercial vehicle design. It has the impact resis- tance and surface appearance of polished metal facings (such as aluminium, for example) while at the same time possesses the low thermal conductivity and elastic de- formability of thermoplastic materials and has the high resistance to UV, weathering and corrosion, and the rigidity, stability and low specific mass per unit area of thermosetting polymers. High Impact, at the same time, compensates for the disadvantage of the materials such as the susceptibility of metals to corrosion and the poor paintability of thermoplastics.
Monzone business focuses on providing a one-stop service in manufacturing and installation of the highest quality insulated containers, professional repairs and maintenance services for transport refrigeration sys- tems, buses and all types of automotive air-conditioning systems.
