扩展进入商用车碰撞修理领域
当我们的车子经过门房，缓缓驶入柔佛巴株巴辖的永发吗呷喷漆 厂有限公司时，眼前所见的一切，让我们惊叹不已。它非常现 代化和宽大，拥有完善的先进汽车及卡车修复设备和工具、一 座行政大楼、可供等候修复和坏损车子停泊的宽大有盖停车场及宽敞停 车位。
董事经理刘书聪从1987年的汽车学徒做起，勤奋的他在累积了经验和资金 后，就在1993年租了一间小小的修车厂，自己当起老板来。这就是刘书聪 谦卑的开始，当然今天该公司的规模与之前的相比，已经不可同日而语。 今天的永发吗呷喷漆厂已经是马来西亚领先的一站式汽车碰撞修理解决方 案供应商之一，也可能是国内拥有最大汽车碰撞修车厂的公司。
“我们一共搬过4次工厂，直到5年前我们在这个面积13英亩的土地上，建 立了自己的工厂，我们才真正安定了下来。有了这个工厂，我们得以将所 有的服务全部集合在一个屋檐下，猎取更多的汽车修复量，为客户提供更 好的服务。当然，它也为我们员工带来更好和更安全的工作环境。”
We were utterly amazed when we drove through the security gates into the workshop of Yoh Huat Motor Works Sdn Bhd in Batu Pahat, Johor. It was modern, huge, well-equipped with the latest car and truck repair equipment and tools, and had an adminis- trative building, a large covered area for vehicles to be repaired and damaged vehicles, as well as ample parking space.
From an automotive service apprentice in 1987, Managing Director Low Shu Chong worked hard, expanded his experiences and accumulat- ed money to become the boss of a small rented workshop with one worker in 1993. These were his humble beginnings and a far cry from where the company is now. Today, Yon Huat Motor Works is one of the leading one-stop collision repair solution providers in Malaysia that owns probably the biggest workshop in the country.
“Before we settled down here about 5 years ago, we have moved our workshop four times. This current workshop that we built on our own 13 acres of land enables us to put all our services under one roof, capture more workshop volume, and provide better services to our customers. It also provides our employees a better and safer working environment,” said Yon.
The rapid growth and move to a larger location underlined the success and effectiveness of Yon’s leadership and marketing strategy. “We always strive to become the best and most reli- able automotive collision repairer for customers. Customer satisfaction is our top priority. To en- able direct communication and encourage feed- back, I have included my mobile phone number on my business card. I think this has helped us in gaining the confidence of customers as they know that if they are not satisfied with our job, they know who to look for. It also helped us to better control the quality of our repair jobs as the technicians are aware that unsatisfied custom- ers will call me directly.”
Yon Huat Motor Works is a PIAM (Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia) approved repairer work- shop. The services that the company provides include 24-hour towing, various mechanical ve-
