韩泰卡车胎花纹 荣获2015 iF设计大奖
韩泰轮胎的全天候卡车及巴士子 午胎—SmartFlex AH31 荣获 2015 iF设计大奖。
与某些只注重美学特性的工业设计品不 同，轮胎的设计既直接影响车辆的行驶性 能，更关乎驾驶的安全性，因此轮胎的设 计环节显得尤为重要。比如，针对轮胎排 水和防滑等核心安全性能的设计，就需要 对胎面花纹和结构分布做重点考量。
韩泰 SmartFlex AH31是适配卡车及巴
士的四季胎，宣称适合可变的天气和不 同的路况。它是凭借着其技术和全新的设计，提供均匀 耗损和高里数及低滚动阻力。转向轴轮胎针对中长旅程的 便利和强烈使用而设计。该轮胎的特点是M+S 和3PMS(3 峰山雪花)标志，以及宽花纹和胎肩设计。再加上深三 维花纹设计，确保更长的里数和更好的操控性能，降低 不规则耗损。韩泰将花纹耗损步进(Tread WearEqual- ised Stepper)技术用在块状花纹上，改善花纹耗损，带 来更长的轮胎使用寿命。从2015年第三季起，韩泰Smart- Flex AH31将添加3种规格(385/65R22.5 、385/55R22.5及 315/60R22.5)，以及从第二季起推出提高载荷指数的增强
版SmartFlex AH31(295/80R22.5，L1 154/148) 。

Hankook Truck Tyre Pattern Recognised with iF Design Award 2015
Hankook Tire was honoured with the iF Design Award 2015 in the product discipline for its all-sea- son truck and bus radial tyre, SmartFlex AH31.
For tyres, unlike other industrial designs focusing on aesthetic features, the prod- uct design carries extra significance as a factor that directly contributes to its driv- ing performance as well as safety-related aspects. An example is that core tyre safety performance, such as water chan- nelling and hydroplaning resistance, is predominantly determined by tread pat- tern designs and structure.
Hankook’s SmartFlex AH31, an all-sea-
son truck tyre that is said to be well-
suited for variable road and weather
conditions, was recognised for its tech-
nology and newly adopted design to provide even wear and high mileage performance with very low rolling re- sistance. The steer axle tyre is designed for convenient and strong usage while operating on long and regional distances. The tyre features the M+S and 3PMS (3 Peak Mountain Snowflake) marks and a pattern with wide tread and shoulder design, along with 3 dimensional kerfs that ensures longer mileage and good handling performance, and minimises irregular wear. Hankook’s Tread Wear Equalised Stepper (TWES) technology is ap- plied to the tyre’s block design pattern to allow improved even wear, resulting in a longer tyre life. The Hankook SmartFlex AH31 will be available in 3 additional sizes (385/65R22.5, 385/55R22.5 and 315/60R22.5) from Q3 2015 and a reinforced version with increased load index (295/80R22.5, LI 154/148) from Q2 2015.
Established in 1953, the iF Design Award is one of the most reputable international design awards along with the Red Dot Design Award and International Design Excellence Award (IDEA). Held annually, the iF Design Award assesses entries based on various evaluation criteria including design quality, functionality, safety, vi- sualisation of intended use and intuitiveness and envi- ronmental impact.
Last year, Hankook Tire recorded a grand slam of receiving recognition for its technological leadership and outstanding design capability from all of the world’s top-4 design awards – iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, IDEA and Good Design Award.
