    Ipoh-based Tasek Big Wheel Service Cen- tre has become the first truck tyre dealer to join the Hankook Truck Masters pro- gramme in Malaysia and add greater value to its retail business.
Managing Director Eric Lee said the compa- ny’s relationship with Hankook started when Hankook Tire Malaysia was established about 3 years ago. (Hankook Tire Malaysia was es- tablished in December 2012 and assumed the role of sole importer of Hankook tyres into the country effective February 2013.)
“We began with one container of Hankook tyres and after 1 year, we increased to 2-3 containers. When we first sold Hankook tyres, it needed more push as the brand was quite new in the market.
However, after trying out the products, fleet op- erators were convinced with Hankook’s quality and durability at reasonable prices. The ma- jority of Hankook’s tyre users were cargo and general container fleet operators,” he said.
The Hankook brand of truck tyres comple- mented the product line-up that the company offered, allowing it to cover a wider range from premium, mid-range to budget tyres. “This enables us to meet the different needs and requirements of our customers in appli- cations, specification and prices.”

董事经理李谋典说,他们与韩泰的关系是在大约3年前,也就是当韩泰轮胎马 来西亚成立时开始的。(韩泰轮胎马来西亚成立于2012年12月,并从2013年2 月起成为韩泰轮胎的独家进口商)。
“我们一开始只是向韩泰轮胎订购一个集装箱的轮胎,1年后,我们增加到2至 3个集装箱。当我们第一次销售韩泰轮胎时,推销的时候需要很用力,因为它 在市场上是个新品牌。然而,在试用过该产品后,车队客户被韩泰合理的售 价,良好的品质和耐用性所说服。韩泰卡车轮胎的用户主要是货运和一般集装 箱车队运输业者。”他说。
该公司的产品阵容因为增添了韩泰卡车轮胎而变得更为广泛,覆盖的范围从优
质、中级到符合预算的轮胎。“这使我们能够符合客户的不同需要和应用,规
格及价格。”
