考察团
马来西亚马赛地 奔驰为本地的 扶桑车身制造 商，主办了一个日本参 观考察团，旨在让他们 更了解扶桑公司的历史 和发展，它系列广泛的 卡车系列及卡车车身的 制造方法。
车身制造商在考察期间参观了扶桑川崎 工厂和研发中心。该工厂负责生产系 列广泛的重型、中型及轻型卡车。位于 该工厂同一地点的研发中心，则研发排 放技术、噪音降低、零部件及原材料再 生、混合动力电动推进系统及主动被动 安全技术。
他们也参观了扶桑Kitsuregawa测试 场--世界最大的卡车及巴士高速赛车 场，并有机会在那里亲身体验非公路和 公路的路况。另一个有趣的地方是扶桑 的尖端EMI测试、引擎研发及动力传动系 统部件测试处。
之后，他们还探访了PABCO,三菱扶桑卡车 及巴士公司卡车车身制造厂，了解最新的 车身制造技术、一般日本采用的卡车车身 及原材料。他们也见证了最新车身制造过 程的工作流程系统及该厂确保品质控制所 采用的测量。
为了更进一步加强大马车身制造商有关起 重机制造的知识，以便他们拥有更好的装 备，比如提供适合客户的起重机方面的建 议，马来西亚马赛地奔驰公司也特别安排 他们参观日本其中一家起重机制造商多田 野株式会社(Tadano) 的总部。
总的来说，马来西亚扶桑车身制造商都认 为他们从该探访中获利不少，因为他们如 今更了解扶桑的历史和它在商用车领域的 发展。

Organises Fuso Bodybuilder Visit to Japan
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia organised a Japan trip for the lo- cal Fuso bodybuilders to allow them to understand Fuso’s company history and development better as well as more importantly, its extensive range of truck models and truck bodybuild- ing methods.
During the trip, the bodybuilders visited Fuso’s Kawasaki plant and R&D centre. The plant is responsible for producing an extensive range of heavy, medium and light duty trucks. Additionally, the same sites housed Fuso’s R&D centre where emissions technology, noise reduction, parts and material recycling, hybrid electric propulsion systems and active pas- sive safety technology are developed.
They also visited the world’s largest high speed circuit built specifically for truck and buses, the Fuso’s Kitsuregawa Proving Ground, where they got to experience the test course circuit over off and on road conditions. Another place of interest that they went to was Fuso’s state-of-the-art EMI testing, engine research and drivetrain component test wings.
They were later brought to PABCO, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Cor- poration’s truck body fabrication factory, to understand the latest technol- ogy used in body fabrication, the common truck body used in Japan and the materials that were used. There they witnessed the latest work flow system in the bodybuilding process and the measures used to ensure quality control.
To further enhance their knowledge in crane manufacturing so that they would be better equipped, for instance, to advise on the right crane for the customer, the company organised a visit to the Tadano headquarters, one of Japan’s crane manufacturers.
Overall, the bodybuilders were said to have found the visit informative and fruitful as they had learnt about Fuso’s history and were updated on Fuso’s development in the commercial vehicle sector.
