He added XCMG Hanvan went through the various performance tests and accumulated nearly 2 million kilometres in reliability trials. In safety, fuel economy and comfort, XCMG Hanvan was said to have reached the international advanced level.
XCMG headquarter is located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province and is China's largest construction machinery manufacturer, being currently ranked fifth in the global construction machinery industry.
Target six 4S centres next year
Dato’ Teoh told Truck & Bus News that there were already 20 Hanvan trucks on the road and the sales target was 200 units for next year and 300 for 2018.
“We have set up six 4S centres in East Malaysia and Peninsular Malaysia. We are targeting to open another six 4S centres by next year and are looking for prime locations.”
Hong Seng Group also set up four departments to promote these China automotive products, including an assembly plant, spare-parts, sales and after-sales service departments. Each department has its own indepen- dent operating system to provide the best customer service.
General Manager of XCMG Automotive Division Luo Donghai said the company chose Hong Seng Group as its sole distributor because of its strong presence in the Malaysian market. It had a wide network, strong customer base and good knowledge in this industry.
“With our appropriate cost control method, the Hanvan price is competi- tive compared to European, Japanese and other Chinese brands. Our po- sition is to target high-end customers as we offer excellent quality heavy trucks with affordable prices,” Luo said.

拿督张海兴告诉《卡客车新闻》,目前,国 内已经有20辆汉风卡车上路,明年的销售目 标是200辆,2018年则是300辆。
“我们在东西马设立了6间4S中心。明 年,我们计划在主要地段再开设6间4S中 心。”
