Pam Global - Father and Son Make Business Pa
Pam Global Sdn Bhd is one of the pioneers in the bus air-conditioner manu- facturing industry in Malaysia. Four years ago, the company ventured into the truck refrigera- tor manufacturing business and aims to tap overseas market by next year.
This company was founded by A Paramesvaran, the managing director, 12 years ago. His son Yuvarajah P., who is Sales Di- rector, graduated from an engi- neering course in Australia and worked for a Japanese multina- tional air-condition company be- fore joining Pam Global.
By doing so, Yuvarajah brought his knowledge and expertise to Pam Global. Currently, the company manufactures its own brand – Arctic - of bus air-con- ditioner and truck refrigerator systems as well as provides in- stallation, repair and after-sales services.
New plant in Nilai
To cater to the fast growing truck refrigerator business, Pam Glob- al moved its production line from Batu Caves to the Nilai Industrial Park in November 2016. Three production lines would be run during the initial stage, with each

line being manned by six well-trained staff. The cur- rent daily capacity is 20 truck refrigerators.
Yuvarajah told Truck & Bus News that the company was among the first in Malaysia to start the multi- temperature in one compartment system in 2013.
“For example, the customers could have three differ- ent temperatures in one compartment. It allows them to carry different products at the same time.”
The price of its truck refrigerator ranges from RM7,500 to RM98,000. The lowest temperature it could go to is -30 degree Celsius. There are two types of truck refrigerators – chiller and freezer unit – with four different models; BT-05 (recommended
