据悉，该挑战赛也是UD卡车如何与客户分享它“现场改善精 神”(Gemba Spirit)—专业、热情及可靠精神的证明。 UD卡车资深品牌与产品副总裁Kishi Nabuhiko 表示:“道致 远挑战不仅只是驾驶比赛，也为驾驶员提供了评估他们的技 巧、精炼实力及再向前迈步的机会。UD卡车承诺在客户的“ 现场”， 改善客户的业务 ，不论他们来自哪一个国家。我们 希望在提供‘终极可靠性’价值的卓越产品和服务外，可以 通过这个竞赛来协助加强驾驶员的能力和信心。”

“It is an honour to have won this award at the finals in Japan. This is a milestone in my career as a driver. I have been driv- ing Quester over one year already, which made me feel con- fident when I was driving the Quester truck during the com- petition,” said Yuzairi Ibrahim, the winning driver from ASAC Logistics Sdn Bhd. Tan Seong Teik, the Managing Director of ASAC Logistics, continued: “This event is a great opportunity not only for the participating driver but also for our company to spread this achievement and motivate other drivers in our company in Alor Setar, Kedah.”
The Extra Mile Challenge is also said to prove how the UD Trucks’ ‘Gemba Spirit’ - the professional, passionate and de- pendable spirit at the heart of UD Trucks – is shared with customers.
